Hoover Tyler Little League


There are two ways for you to register your child to play in Hoover Tyler Little league: online or in-person.  This page presents information about both processes.

Registration Options

Option 1 - Register your player(s) online

  1. Login or create a new account on this site
  2. Complete the registration process for each player and pay registration fee
  3. Upload proof-of-residency documents or a school enrollment form (these will be confirmed by the league Player Agent)
  4. Upload completed Medical Release form

Note: After registering, you may be contacted by the league Player Agent to supply an original proof-of-age document (such as a birth certificate) for age verification.

Option 2 - Register your player(s) in-person at a league sign-up event

  1. Gather proof-of-residency documents or a completed school enrollment form (see below)
  2. For new players to HTLL, gather an original proof-of-age document (such as a birth certificate)
  3. Complete a Medical Release form
  4. Attend the sign-up event and complete registration
  5. Pay registration fee

Proof of Residency Information

One of Little League's core principles is strengthening communities by having children play baseball with other children from their neighborhood or school. As such, a child's residency or school location is crucial to the registration process. Residency must be re-established or confirmed every year via one of these two methods:

Method #1 - Residency Documents

One document from each of the three categories is required every year when using this method. Documents must show a named connection between the parent/guardian and the child. All documents must be dated or in force since February 1 of the previous baseball year.

  • Driver’s license
  • School records
  • Vehicle records (e.g. registration, lease, etc.)
  • Employment records
  • Insurance documents

Choose one:

  • Welfare/child care records
  • Federal records (e.g., federal tax, social security, etc.)
  • State records
  • Local (municipal) records (e.g., city-issued water bill)
  • Support payment records
  • Homeowner or tenant records
  • Military records

Choose one:

  • Voter’s registration
  • Utility bills (e.g. cell phone, gas, electric, phone, heating, etc.)
  • Financial records (loan, credit, investments, etc.)
  • Medical records
  • Internet, cable, or satellite records

Method #2 - School Enrollment Document - Recommended!

Children who attend school in HTLL boundaries are eligible to prove residency via a school enrollment document. This document must be completed and singed by a school administrator, principal, or assistant principal. School enrollment documents continue in force for a player's career at HTLL as long as the player does not change schools. Children who live in HTLL boundaries and go to a school in the boundaries are free to use a school enrollment document instead of residency documents.

These are the only schools that can certify a child's attendance for the purpose of playing in HTLL.

  • John McCandless (March Lane location only)

Note: . These documents should be stored by the league and the district. Players can continue to play in HTLL using the school enrollment form on file each season.

  1. Parent or guardian fills out the top portion of the form
  2. Take the form to the player's school and ask an administrator to complete the bottom section. The required fields are highlighted for easy identification.
  3. Return the form to the league Player Agent
    • Option 1: Login to your HTLL account and add the document to your player's registration
    • Option 2: Send the document via email to the league Player Agent

Age Verification

In addition to residency/school enrollment, all players must be age-verified every year before they can be assigned to a team. When registering a new HTLL player, an original birth certificate must be presented to the league Player Agent for age verification. Parents of returning HTLL players may verify the player's age by using a copy of the player's birth certificate that may be on file with the league from a previous year.
